This week on Tuesday, the year 6 and Reception buddies were able to spend some time together having fun and taking part in a pancake flipping competition.  The children worked well together and had lots of fun counting to see who could get the most pancake flips in 15 seconds. 

In the afternoon, Reception continued their learning about pancakes by making their own batter using flour, milk and eggs.  Each child got the chance to either weigh, crack an egg or mix the batter and then were lucky enough to each take home their own pancake to enjoy in the evening.
