Last week, Year 4 went on a trip to Valence House Museum to discover more about their topic - The Anglo-Saxons. 

They discovered some of the impact on the local area, particularly how both Dagenham and Barking have their origins from the time of the Anglo-Saxons. 

The children were able to examine artefacts, study research into the local area, and understand what it means to be an archeologist. 

The children fully enjoyed themselves and were model ambassadors for the school.
