  • Monday 12 July 2021 Reception Sports Day Yesterday, we joined our Nursery children for our Sports Day. It was not the first Sports Day we would have liked to put on, but the children had lots of fun and really impressed with their sports skills and sportsmanship. 
  • Friday 2 July 2021 Boat and Marble Challenge Over the past 2 days, children have been challenged to create a boat that will float and hold as many marbles as possible before sinking. We have seen some outstanding teamwork and children have been very inventive. The winning boat held an incredible 106 marbles and was created by Carolina, Remi and Devynn.
  • Monday 22 March 2021 Music We are continuing to enjoy our music lessons via Zoom. The children had lots of fun singing and dancing today. 
  • Monday 22 February 2021 News - 22.2.21 Reception have been writing about what they got up to over the half-term break. 
  • Tuesday 9 February 2021 Reception's Zoom Meeting - Dreams This week, we talked about our hopes and dreams. Some of us focussed on the things that we're missing right now and hopes that we will soon be reunited with friends and family. Others shared their dreams and aspirations for the future. 
  • Monday 8 February 2021 News - 8.2.21 This week in our news, we have challenged ourselves to extend our sentences using the word 'and'. 
  • Tuesday 2 February 2021 Reception's Zoom Meeting - Friends In our Zoom meeting this week, we talked about our friends and shared pictures of the friends that we are missing and looking forward to seeing when we're allowed to. Mrs Purkis shared this poem, 
  • Monday 1 February 2021 News - 1.2.21 We have been working hard on our writing and have pushing ourselves to write more than 1 sentence for our news. This week, we have been focussing on making a link between the sentences. 
  • Wednesday 27 January 2021 News - 25.1.21 It snowed this weekend! Check out our snowy news. 
  • Monday 25 January 2021 Tell Me Something Happy As part of our Topic learning, we shared the story 'Tell me something happy before I go to sleep'. Children were asked to share their own pictures of things that make them happy. 
  • Tuesday 19 January 2021 News - 18.1.21 We have been keeping busy this week and are becoming fantastic writers too. 
  • Tuesday 19 January 2021 How to Catch a Star Last week, as part of our topic 'What happens when I fall asleep?', we shared the story 'How to Catch a Star' by Oliver Jeffers. Over the weekend, children were set a crafty challenge to create their own stars at home.
